Best Buy, Going Out Of business!?

I Have 2 words that sum up that bit of "news" going around.

BULL SHIT!!!

Morning opening at Best Buy
Lets start with why people think Best Buy is going out of business, Online Competitors, and what makes a purchase online different from one at a Brick and Mortar.

Try Before You Buy:

People think, because you can buy a product online for a slightly cheaper price, that people are going to flock there and purchase everything online. I challenge that notion, Will you buy a car without test driving it first? No! So it is fair to assume that the same goes for TVs and Computers.
As a matter of fact, the majority of shopping is still done in the brick and mortar stores. However if that is not enough for you, Best Buy accounted for 11% of online electronics sales in 2011.
With Best Buy branching out into the online market, it is fair to assume if more people are going to be "buying online" then more people are going to be buying online at BestBuy.com

How do you return a product you bought online?

A lot of times you buy a product online, you are unable to return it. I have fallen victim to that and as such I do not buy electronics online. When I was building my computer a few years ago I purchased the components online. However the MoBo I was sent was DOA, rather than being able to return it I was forced to deal with the MFG. In the process I had to pay for shipping, I had to wait 4 weeks to get a new MoBo, I had to wait to build my rig because I bought online. NEVER AGAIN!!

No Waiting to Get Your Product

Do you ever want something at that very moment? Well instead of waiting a week for your product, or negating the money you saved from buying online to pay for overnight shipping and still being forced to wait, you can go to a Brick and Mortar to pick up that product.

Help Getting the Right Accessories

So you need help knowing what you should get with your main product? Well at the brick and mortars that is there job. they make sure you get the right cables and accessories for your products. They also make sure you have the necessary things at home, like a wi-fi network and internet service.

In conclusion, there are many reasons why you should shop at a brick and mortar store. Even though many "analyst" say Best Buy is Going Out of Business, they are wrong. The facts will speak for themselves, they are speaking for themselves! If Best Buy were Going Out of Business, they would not have the cash-flow they have.
